Place Texture

Create a new file

From “File” menu, click “New”.
“Save Settings” window appears, and enter the pixels for Width and Height.
It is recommended to set up the size according to the guide image.

Here we have an example with the guide image of 1024 x 1024, so make a new file with a little larger size of 1000 x 1024.

If you click the frame in background color on the lower left of the canvas pallet, a color picker appears to select the color of your choice.

Place the guide image

First, place the guide image on the canvas.

Drag and drop the raster guide image on the Modeler tool, it will be loaded and “Image Settings” window appears on the screen.
Make sure that “guide image” is selected for “Purpose”, and “Fast” is selected for “Type”, and click "OK".

The image is stored in “Guide image” parts of “Parts” pallet.
Adjust the size, position, and opacity (25% as a default) if needed.

After placing the guide image, it is recommended to lock “Guide image” parts not to interfere when placing other Texture.

After adding a check mark in “Show the Grid” check box which you can select from “Show” menu, you will be able to place a guide image using grid’s line that will be convenient in the following procedure like creating symmetrical movement as well.

Place Texture

Then place Texture based on the position of guide image.

Click the part name to place in “Parts” pallet, and click “Edit Texture” while selecting the part name.

“Select an image” window appears, and add an image.
Click “Select from files” button to open the file to use for Texture.

“Edit” window appears, and map out drawable objects after mapping polygons of Texture.
Place the anchor points of polygons to enclose a part and click "OK" below,then it will be placed as drawable object on the canvas.

Adjust the position (by enlarging or reducing) of drawable objects just on the guide image below, placement is completed.
