Create a Motion with Switching Arm Posing

If you load the model which is created to switch the arm posing in the Animator tool (which is created in  Switch Arm Posing)  as a material, there are two sets of arms displayed on the screen as below.
You can see that from "1 Dress ARM L A" to "1 Dress ARM R B" in "Show Live2D Parts", all Parameters have the value of "1".
This setting is reflected from the parts display setting which is saved as a cmox file, and the value is "1" for displayed part, and the value is "0" for hidden parts.

When you add a motion, you first need to make settings of the Motion Parameter of Switch Part View of arm parts.
To display the arm set A, make A set as "1" and B set as "0" like the chart below.

1  Dress ARM L B0
1  Dress ARM R B0

It is recommended to set it as the first frame like below.



To display the arm set B, the settings are as below.
1  Dress  ARM L A0
1  Dress  ARM R A0
1  Dress  ARM L B1
1  Dress  ARM R B1


After adding the key for Switch Part View, you can create the motion.
Remember that you do not switch the arm pose while motioning.

There are only 0 or 1 for the Motion Parameter values for Switch Part View, so one motion will be changed instantly to another without any transformation of opacity if you switch them during motioning.
There is no problem if you intend to do it, however it is not suitable if you want to switch arm posing of each motion using cross-fade.

After the motion is completed, export it with an mtn file.

If you make settings as below, the key of "Switch Part View" is also exported.




Tips

Let's have a look at the mtn file which you exported.

If you open the mtn file with a text editor like Notepad, it is as below.

You will see that below the Parameters of face or body of "PARAM_BROW_L_ANGLE" or "PARAM_BODY_ANGLE_X", there are Parameters like follows;

VISIBLE:PARTS_01_ARM_L_A_001=1
VISIBLE:PARTS_01_ARM_R_A_001=1
VISIBLE:PARTS_01_ARM_L_B_001=0
VISIBLE:PARTS_01_ARM_R_B_001=0

They are the Parameter values of Switch Part View.

When the mtn file is loaded on the program, it is decided which arm should be displayed from the Parameter values like followings;

VISIBLE:PARTS_01_ARM_L_A_001=1, so display "1 Dress ARM L A".
VISIBLE:PARTS_01_ARM_R_A_001=1, so display "1 Dress ARM R A".
VISIBLE:PARTS_01_ARM_L_B_001=0, so display "1 Dress ARM L A".
VISIBLE:PARTS_01_ARM_R_B_001=0, so display "1 Dress ARM R A".
