Notes When Creating a Motion for an Application

・Notes while fading of motion

When changing from one motion to another, a Motion Parameter is played with fading.
The time of fading is set to be one second as a default.
When creating motions, you need to pay attention that the Parameter value becomes a consumption of two Motion Parameters during fading, and the motion will be a little different from what is displayed in the Animator tool screen.

Following chart is the change flow of eye motion from motion A of no blinking to motion B of blinking in the beginning.
You can see that the eye is not closed completely and is half-opened when A+B.

※Above values are simplified for the purpose of explanation, and the actual value transition is different.

You better not to create a big motion for the first one second, as the motion becomes unusual as above image.
You can create a small motion of face or body direction for the first one second, however you need to pay attention when creating motions as follows;

Blinking
It will be a blend of an opened eye and a closed eye, and become an eye with half-opened as a result.
【Hint】 → Do not create blinking motion for the first and last one second with fading.

Motion of an arm
The motion of an arm may become unusual like moving back and forth.

【Hint → If you want to create a motion like putting an arm down to raise the hand on the hip to be added in the beginning, you better to create it with the condition of putting the hand on the hip and keep it for the first one second.

・Add at least one key frame for all Motion Parameters.

This is because of the specification regarding the Motion outputting.

You better to click + [Ctrl] to add a key frame for all Motion Parameters of 0 frame in property group to start adding a motion as below.
