05. Technical Inquiry

When you run into a bug or stuck at a programming error, we can provide assistance more effectively if you give us the following information.
Nonetheless, these are not mandatory procedures, please feel free to contact us for any inquiry.

Information that are helpful to trouble-shooting:
  • Live2D SDK : The version of the SDK and operating system in use (check the name of the zip file you downloaded)
  • Development Environment : The name and version of the programming software in use.
  • Error Context : Describe the situation which the error occurs, and the method to replicate the error. The more details, the sooner we understand the problem and provide a solution.
  • Error Message : If there is an error message log, please provide it to us. If you don't know exactly where the error is located in the log, you may still copy and post the whole log history. 
  • Other Remarks : Such as your hardware specs, etc..
  • Relevant Codes : If possible, please also provide us the codes orienting the problem. It would help us trouble-shoot.

Example:
  • Live2D SDK : Live2D_SDK_Unity_1.0.05_1
  • Development Environment: Windows 7, Unity Pro 4.5.0
  • Error Context : When running on Android, crash error message appears upon first tap
  • Error Message : Null Exception
  • Other Remarks : Nexus 7 (OS version 4.1.0) confirmed issue.

However, the community members can only try their best to reply to questions and suggest solutions. There is no promise that the problem can be solved.
