05. Revert to Original Shape


This section explains the function to return the drawing object to its original shape.

This feature is only effective on Drawing Objects, deformers can not be reverted.

The ability to return the Object to it's original shape has two options: "original
texture size" and "maintain area".

on the top menu, click on
[Object]→[Revert to Original Shape (maintain area)]
or
[Object]→[Revert to Original Shape (original texture size)]




    Revert to Original Shape (maintain area)

This function returns the object to it's original shape (exactly as the polygons appear in the texture file) while maintaining the current scale.




    Revert to Original Shape (original texture size)

This function returns the object to it's original shape (exactly as the polygons appear in the texture file)
It reloads the object using the scale and size of the original texture file, so it is convenient if the model on the canvas is the same size as the texture.  

In the below example, the Model was scaled up to fit the display (1024 x 1024)so reverting the object to the original texture size was too small.
