The following explains the settings options of motion in Viewer.

These settings can be saved and exported as .json file to be used elsewhere.

The value displayed here is the default value.
If no fade-in value has been specified, the default wpuld be 1000 ms.

Fade-out(ms)

The value displayed here is the default value.

For further details about fade-in / fade-out mechanics, please visit this page.

Loop
Check this box to set your model to play this motion repeatedly.
(This is a setting only applied in Viewer, and will not be written in the .json file)

Loop fade-in
The fade-in rate when loop motions play.
(This is a Viewer-specific settings, model.json setting file will not include this configuration)

Sound
Indicate an audio file to play while executing the motion.
Viewer playback only supports mp3 audio file (whatever format that FlashPlayer supports).

Group
Input a group name to assign the motion to a motion group.
If you put in "idle", and enable "idle motion" for this model (top menu, [Animation] → [Idling motion]), then this motion will be put on repeat.
Common groups include "tap_body", "pinch_in", "shake", or "flick_head".
It is a good habit to assign the belonging group as it may come in handy elsewhere anytime.

Playback
Execute the motion upon clicking this button.

Record Parameters
Click this button to record parameter performance over the playback of the selected motion.
The data will be embedded (saved) in the motion file.
The main purpose for this function is to write physics mechanic into the selected motion.
See
this page for further detail.
